Mark has dedicated his entire professional career to building relationships with clients and partners based on trust, great solutions, and a shared mission to advance the association market. Mark is an expert at growing up-and-coming companies into name brands by committing to industry thought leadership, building company culture, and developing client-focused sales organizations.

As CRO of Higher Logic, Mark oversees sales, partnerships and client relations. A hallmark of Mark’s success throughout his career is his desire to teach, motivate and lead sales teams. Prior to joining rejoining Higher Logic, Mark spent 5+ years as President and CRO of Association Analytics (A2), growing it from a small services business to a SaaS business servicing 100’s of associations, bringing in 10’s of millions in revenue for growth and got A2 ranked in INC Fastest Growing Companies, while making A2 the go to name and resource for analytics in the association market. Prior to A2, Mark spent 10+ years as the CRO of Higher Logic. While there, Higher Logic grew to be the most widely used community platform in North America, was consistently ranked as an INC Fastest Growing Company, was identified as one of the 50 greatest places to work by Washingtonian and other publications and grew to a multi-hundred-million-dollar business from a bootstrapped organization. Mark’s early career includes sales and leadership roles at Abila, Blackboard and ASI.

Widely recognized for his association industry and business expertise, Mark currently sits on several boards and councils providing guidance on organizational effectiveness and growth strategies. Mark regularly speaks at industry events and is frequently featured in industry publications. Mark was named 2022 Association Partner of the Year by Association Trends – A Salute to Association Excellence. He is a proud graduate of Virginia Tech with 2 degrees.
